Prince: Commitment, Responsiblity and Obligation...

Unwillingly, he plans for full body check up next month. It has been a long time since then, hopefully, the record won’t show any surprise! Perhaps, his busy life has tried to hint him about ‘break’.

He got a call from his father 2 days ago, who resides in Alor Setar currently, that His 80 year-old grandfather was admitted to hospital, suspected TB, and waiting for medical result, while, his mother has caught with a flu as well, but refuses to see Doctor.

As much as he likes to go back, but he was not well too. Yesterday, his mother called him up to acknowledge her well-being. He was glad to know she was fine, while his grandfather was still at the stage of diagnosis.

As much as he believes that death is part of human life-cycle, and wants to pay less concern to death. But, when you realize that the occurrence of one thing which will lead to death, you tend to prevent it from happening. Of course, you feel sour in you.

Overwhelmed with obligation (family), MBA examination and commitment & responsibility (career & work), he has somehow allowed to choose only one. Furthermore, stays away from family is not a good idea at all but only, a good experience.

As the eldest son in the family, and the only one who can make it so far, his parent never encourage him to go back often. As they literally, want him to concentrate on his study and work. He knows his obligation, responsibility and commitment which were given to him since young. As much as he would like to deny it, but fate has put him in such situation where he can run no where.

However, this doesn’t bring him frustration and disappointment; instead, it molded his character and mentality to take up challenge willingly. The sacrifice he has made, and the understanding his parent has given him, has meant so much to him, thus, he still considered himself as the luckiest person on earth, never drilled down to the stage of self-affected or self-abasement.

As he has always comfort himself, it’s a matter of time for success to arrive, and that could make everything change…
