Feeling drowsy in offices today, and he believed he has caught a slight flu. He felt itchy nose which carries it down to the throat. It was the ‘Day of Verdict’ where, parents meet the class teacher for the yearly progress of their children. The principal asked him to stay back until 7pm, to entertain parents. He has no idea what he can do, but wondering around up and down. Soon, he realized that he was wasting time, with his sickness was as well getting serious; he made up his mind to sneak out.
Kevin felt like leaving as well, both of them punch their card, and walked steadily out of the entrance. Unfortunately, after he left, he receives a SMS from Kevin, ‘Bro, I was trapped, can’t go back now’, he claimed. Apparently, he walked to the admin office for a little chat.
Meanwhile, he visited his usual panel doctor – Dr. Del Silva Polyclinic at Pandan Perdana. He waited as much as an hour to reach his turn, as usual, the Doctor talks a lot more than consulting.
‘How are you brother?’ the Doctor greeted.
‘You know it is not good when I have to see you’, he replied.
‘What’s wrong with you?’ the Doctor asked.
‘I am having sore-throat and I think I have caught flu’, he answered.
After checking here and there, the doctor said he is going to give some antibiotic, something to suck and gargle as well.
‘Am I eligible to work tomorrow? I have a meeting tomorrow though’, he asked.
‘Since you are here, you may as well get one isn’t it’, the Doctor said.
Here you go, he got one day MC…the pain is killing, and apparently he got a turgescent in his throat.
