People have been talking about ‘Lamp-Thingy’, and how it helps to give you wealth. His friends related his experience to him during the New Year hang-out, and there are a number of his friends are currently doing it as well, some of them even give up their study for the lamp selling. There is a friend of him who has just completed his degree from reputable Australia University, borrowing RM 30k from his parent for the lamp selling business too. Well, nothing wrong with it, and of course, if you can do it, then no harm give it a try, but remember, trying will cost you RM 30k!
Prince was approached by many MLM salesperson, and especially Lamp-selling thingy in the market. He always hears those comparisons they tend to use to ignite your interest, and take advantage of your impulsiveness. They tend to use words, statements or otherwise, that would stimulate your thinking, and hurt your self-esteem, so that they are able to appear as an angel to return you your very own self-esteem, to make you feel less-inferior compare to others. This is one kind of persuasive skill anyway.
Anyhow, talking about those comparisons they tend to adopt, for example, Mr. XXX has become a millionaire within a year, or Mr. XXX is now earning ten over thousands a month without doing anything. For him, this is crap…
He watched a documentary on the Prince of Saudi, who owns 10% of City Corporation. He was a graduate in business faculty from Monla College in United State, and he was from a broken family.
Taking Prince Saudi as an example, he wonders…
How many people on this earth have a chance of becoming someone like him?
How many graduates have actually achieved what he did?
How many first class or third class honors students have actually done that stage?
How many illiterate (if you mean most millionaires are illiterate) has done that far?
How many ‘Business-man’ so called by Multi-Level-Marketing sales person has gone on par with him at the moment?
You answer it for yourself then…
If you are talking about comparison, then it is a waste of time to do so, because every human-being fixes their own destiny with their own hand, and of course, they will become a different people at a different field with what they like to do.
Comparing isn’t good, and it has become a gimmick to prey on those who longing for success- which is ‘money’! Because, “they” know, those people are easily carried away by their feeling, emotion and thinking at that moment.
Meanwhile, different technique is used on different people, sometimes, they tend to bring your parent into picture by asking, ‘do you want you parent to live well?’, or ‘do you want give your parent happiness, and live worriless’? Or ‘do you still want to depend on your parent financially or start your own business earning your own money?’ They tend to ask all soft of question which you has already has the answer, but once you answer them, then they will channel your answers and link it with ‘what they do’, so that it synchronize.
He has learned a lot from the documentary about Prince Saudi, not about how he makes money, but what kind of character he posses in order to make money. It tells him a few things…
- You can get a doctorate but without a good mindset, you will still fall behind.
- Different people has a different life and a different achievement
- You don’t need people to tell you how to get rich fast because time doesn’t matter
- You don’t need a light toward wealth because rich people never ask for light
- Rich people has neither ask nor receive advice to join MLM Company as well
a. Has you ever wonder if anyone approached and tells “Uncle Lim” –Genting how to get rich with the mountain?
b. Has you ever wonder if anyone approached and tells “Kwok”- Sugar King How to get rich with Sugar?
And, now, why on earth people going around telling other to join membership to get rich? Hmm…a point to ponder through…
Most importantly, and eventually, one most important character he learns from Prince Saudi is that Prince Saudi has never given up on his objective which is correctly set. He set to complete his study and he did it, and he set to do business, earn lot of money and he did it…and that is Prince Saudi…
Note: He can’t’ remember to name of the documentary, and he can’t remember his full name, but people called him ‘Prince Alaweed’ if not mistaken. He owns 15% of City Corporation, but was reduce to 10% due to the new legislation in United State to control the foreign capital.
