Research Area: Role Model’s Perceived Image, and Its Influences on Teenagers

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Teenagers represent a significant 9% of the total population in Malaysia; and in many countries, teenagers are spending more every years. One of the factor influences teenagers is their role model; who can be their fathers, mothers, peers, or well known entertainers or Athletes.

This research intends to understand you as teenagers of how you perceive your role model, and this research will serve as partially fulfillment to my PhD study. All information will also be kept private and confidential.

Your interest to participate will contribute to the success of this study. Your idea will be noted, and be mention in the study for future research reference, and please also note that your participation in this study is voluntary, and you are free to participate or end your participation anytime during the process.

Prince: What can I say then...



Life is much better now with new environment being so much family like culture. People work flexibly, less pressure, which means more efficient. I love the environment, and I love my colleagues, and my superior. They are all so good to me; but I have got other concerns which need much of my attention, and not to procrastinate!





Going out dinner with my ex-colleagues for dinner last night, and only to know that my ex company has really got into trouble with employee retention. One of the measures they devise to cope with the low retention rate is to introduce the flexible working hours. Meaning, if you work late last night, you should be able to return work late next morning. Everyone in the company lauded the approach, but de-motivate a little when the management also introduce a firm instruction that they must apply first. Employees are even ‘de-motivated’ when the whole idea is scrapped, unfortunately.

My move to competitors’ company has received overwhelming responses. There are good and bad news in the market going around. Being a bright personnel in my previous company, become quite a surprise to everyone that I decided to move; It is a hard-knock on my department without a left-hand, and it is especially hurt when they found out I am joining competitors. However, that doesn’t mean they realize their problem, especially when you notice the employees morale is deep low until now; no special measure taken at the moment which really caught me in surprise. What is it for, for hitting 170 millions targets these years with 38% growth when your products are obvious stock up in retailers’ warehouse without moving even an inch then? The focus has gone really wrong at this moment. Upon hitting target, the little motivation for employees is a motivation trip to Port Dickson! Sounds interesting…
