New management starts from Zero, thus, we shall call it Zero management approach. Every business that have a proper management model will succeed in the field as the market leader, however, the number of business people who understand the importance of management model, is still questionable.
While looking back at the market, taking food industry as an example, the emerging trends of ‘mamaking’ and the increasing popularity of ‘Nasi Kandar’ have created another opportunity in the food industry, but none of it dares to claim the market leader. Market leader doesn’t mean you have the most number of outlet, but to provide the distinctive product that many other do not have, and that you enjoy competitive edge which your customer favor the most. Even in many businesses to date, are still running their business instead of managing it. They will be drifted away not long in the field, and being eliminated.
A model consists of two elements, internally, and externally, internally consists of people, place, financial, infrastructure, product, policy and system and objective, meanwhile, externally, it consists of all elements in marketing and public relationship, and both element must have strategic consistency. Any business must first think of business model, to create internal consistency before they can grow big, or otherwise, many problem may arise internally which halt their expansion.
