Prince: Charcoal & CBC...

Two issues today which makes him a bit fed-up. He went back to office around 8pm, to make sure the camp fire was going on smooth. Somehow they asked him to purchase more charcoal for barbecue session from 7-eleven, as they literally claimed that they purchased it in 7-eleven earlier on. Due to the urgency, he rushed down to Bandar Sri Petaling, and ‘ransacking’ two 7-eleven outlets, only to find out that they didn’t sell charcoal, and never do!

He called back:-

‘What the heck (F@@!) is going on? I went to two 7-eleven outlet, and the sale assistants told me they never sell charcoal!’, he reprimanded.

‘Ok, you hold on, let me ask Leo’, said Lit Wey (one of the VPT)

‘Oh, I bought it in sundry shop just now, not 7-eleven’, Leo claimed.

The review:

He realized that he hates people telling lies, and it makes him running in the bush for something which is not there. Leo can just tell him that he can get it in Sundry shop earlier on, why on earth telling something he doesn’t know while thought it would be the easiest way!

The second issues, is when he was in the midst of barbecuing, a friend of him called, asking him out for a drink at Cheras Business Center. His friend claims that he was going to bring something to eat. He suggested calling Cat and Sim, and he will meet him straight at Cheras Business Center at 9.30pm.

Right after the barbecue thingy, he rushed down to meet him, even though tiredness called. He was initially mistaken it as Bukit Mamak, and message his friend for confirmation but no reply, and later he recap that it was Cheras Business Center.

On his way down, he called Sim and Cat, and they both claimed that they receive no call from his friends, and they were out with their own friends. Regardless of what was going on behind the scene, he went down there and ordered a cup of coffee, sipping while waiting.

Half an hour later, he become a bit impatient perhaps, he was too tired, he called his friend but got into Voice Message, and he sent a few messages again but no reply. He felt a bit frustrated. Realizing that his friend did not call Sim and Cat, and he still went down to CBC because he has promised so, somehow, it was more like a prank.

A few possibilities or excuses come across his mind;

He got into car accident (rumor / news may have spread all over already if it is true!)

He fell asleep and forget about it (it doesn’t prove the fact that his phone is unable to reach so what is wrong with his phone?)

He left his phone in the car (it is his idea to meet up and how on earth you can forget something you have initiated so fast! He can still call using his house phone.)

His phone out of battery and charger has spoiled (use house phone!)

He has to rush to Hospital for someone (at least, use public phone to call for cancellation)

He has to go back to office (use office phone at least to inform the cancellation)

He thought prince is not going (the fact that he has mentioned to meet him straight up without sense of reluctant, how could any of his words hint that he is not going?)

He thought its Bukit Mamak instead of Cheras Business Center (at least, give a call to find out? But he can’t be reach when prince tried to call)

He is sick and unable to go out (a call is more than enough!)

His phone out of credit! (Hey, what’s wrong with ‘out of credit’, can still use house phone to call isn’t it? But getting into voice message means either phone break down or off the phone basically!)

His car broke down (at least a call to inform your friends)

He doesn’t feel like going (you called at 8.30pm and meet up at 9.30pm, still got an hours in between to make call to cancel the appointment, why wait?)

AND finally got a call the next day! The excuse is … ‘My phone out of credit!’….

It’s probably the sense of responsibility and commitment is not there? Or friendship is not important for certain people? Living in a careless condition where all other except family, are not an important issues in life?
