He attended the night class; tiredness called but still had to continue with his journey to Subang. The class lecturer was Dr. James, it has been a year since he took his subject again, he was a nice a lecturer, and had a lot to share.
He had a nice chat with Dr. James, and learns a lot about Doctorate program, Phd and its usefulness. He was told by Dr. James that, earning a Phd at such a young age, will not bring much credibility. But Phd in Local University is, of course, cheaper in comparison to any other private college, this has no doubt, is a fact.
Dr. James advised him to take up Phd in University Malaya first, and perhaps switch to other University in future when he has more money. It only cost around RM 13,000 for a Phd in Local University but RM 60,000 for private college.
Dr. James also stated the pros and cons, he said that Local University is all under the same roof (under the same system), and they can be very sticky (Too academically emphasize, lack of practicality unless you wish to stay in academic field to be a lecturer!) however, he also said that if money is the constraint then try to do it first and switch later.
