Prince evaluates....

Prince has been observing closely her assistance to find out the problem lying inside of her, with intention to help her, and lead her to correct path, this evaluation was done in second months of prince work, but almost forget about the observation process totally. This is what prince has noticed, and plans to help her out. Until recently, he seen some improvement in her, even though, still, the whole department has to bear the fact that she made a mistaken in design art-work, wrongly prints out 60 T-shirts. She eventually amended the T-shirt, and leads to a happy ending, at which Prince is happy, but still can’t keep that mistake out of his mind.


Strength:

Considerable knowledge about event management, and able to generate new ideas

High-self-esteem & confidence in event management, & favorable working assignment

Can gets Along with colleague well, and has Good Hygiene

Has a considerable level of focus in work duty, and spirit of team player

Has Good Attendance, Is Cooperative

Weakness:

Low level of independent in work, and unable to finish work on time

Low level of problem solving ability & Low level of willingness to work

Less meticulous, and Low self-conscious, self-improvement & self-conscious

High persistence leads to stubborn & unable to ponder rationally from situation to situation

Problem of accuracy with their work, and does not really follow directions due to lack of concentration

Timeliness to work is a question, and often, emotionally carries away which affects her PR works.

Low priorities ability, and lead to wrong focus / concentration

Remark:

For prince, throughout the one month period with her, he has found her personality to be quite friendly and approachable. With her one and half year experience in HQ Corporate Communication Department, she has, the least, able to exert her event management skills learned in the past. Prince must applaud her ability for new idea generation, although, some ideas may appears to be unrealistic. Meanwhile, prince found her efficiency in producing outcome is questionable, prince would establish the fact that she has a personality of perfectionist, a good working behavior which foster accuracy, however, due to her weakness of ‘lack of urgency and unable to prioritize her work’ has led her to diffusion of concentration in other areas, and affecting the group performance.

As a young lady who has some experience in event management previously in HQ for annual dinner and etc, has also help to shape her self-esteem, which may sometimes turn into arrogant and stubborn.

Meanwhile, her achievement in dancing sport has also given her some personal satisfaction which led to high self-esteem and confidence, and that; it was brought into her work, affecting her working attitude subconsciously.

As a normal human being, she has the tendency to brag of her achievement sometimes, and seeking opportunities to show her ability. But, it was done so in a wrong manner, and wrongly emphasizes.

From the past one month working together with her, though, she realizes her mistake through brainstorming and personal discussion, with suggestion for solution, and even though she promises for change, but she is oblivious to certain discussion.

To help her to change, Prince helps to schedule deadline for her work to ensure she hands in on time, and regularly update on her working schedule. Meanwhile, Prince has to remind her profusely on her regular mistake, and trying to groom her to be a PR practitioner.

Prince realizes that the Root problem is the working attitude that needs to be re-shaping again. No matter what effort he places into transforming her, it is consider as controlling mechanism, but not empowering mechanism, prince needs to start from the fundamental problem-working attitude- if an employee has a good working attitude, self-initiation, self-determination, self-conscious are those character that may self-generated / self-fostered. No other measures to control an employees, and company can only grow if they have employee that are able to have passion in working for company instead of working for the rules! Previous measure of giving her due date, only make her working for the deadline, she lost her focus and the same problem occurs again and again, if not, one problem always leads to another new problem that require new measures.
