Prince: SOmething to ShAre...

He took his time reading his ‘unfinished’ book, and came across a few lines which he thinks is meaningful.

‘The truth is easily victimised by of our desires’

‘Lying is one of the most dangerously corrosive and subtly destabilising activities to be found in human life, which leads to morass of uncertainty.’

‘The truth is what human needs in order to survive, however, human tends to keep the truth, and depart the truth where they sugar-coats the lies as akin to the ‘truth’ itself, with euphemism of victory. It harms not only the victim but deceiver as well’, the author claimed.

‘Liar, person who deceives, will suffer an overwhelming sense of disgust with himself, an injury that he would have to work hard to repair’.

The author also claims that, ‘We all come into this life with a natural bent towards credulity, toward believing what others tell us, otherwise, as young children we couldn’t learn language’

‘If each and every one of us cultivates the habit of facing the truth and living in it, it will be much easier to share it with others, even when that sharing is slightly awkward or unavoidably difficult.’

‘What we do in the world is a consequence of what we think, and how we do in this world is a result of how we think.’

‘Julius Caesar famously announced “Veni, vidi, vici” (I came, I saw, I conquered)’

‘Lawyers complaining that what they do is too adversarial might strike you as akin to football players’ complaining that too many people keep running into them on the field.’

‘There is nothing noble in being superior to some other man. The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self.’

‘Competitive growth can sometimes encourage a narrow self-focus that easily becomes problematic.’

‘Collaborative mindset involves head and hands, while, cooperative is only work with hands not heads.’

‘The most interesting about a house is the people who live in that house.’

‘The life of man is like a game with dice, if you don’t get the throw you want, you must show your skill in making the best out of the throw you get- Terence.’
