I have a chat with someone I like today, and touching on family topic. She told me she is not a career-lady; she is more into family-oriented lady. I start to believe when the old one keep saying, the ultimate dream of a lady is to have a happy family, with care-loving husband and a few fun-loving children. Who does not wish to enjoy that dream though?
For a man, also wishes to see someone he loves every morning, with a passionate morning kiss to start the day, or perhaps, a simple breakfast to fill the stomach, and to be able to see their children running up and down, calling him ‘daddy’. Perhaps, that’s the simplest life that a man and woman can expect.
I still remember my parent always advise me with their experience. They assume the world is filled with materialistic that involves physical transaction in our daily life, that money is inevitably, something you can not live without. A family can only be happy to live without worry of money.
They asked, how you can be happy, if you are stuck with loan, and that you are barely enough to support the family. Judging from my parent experience, even though, both of them working toward supporting the family and brought us up. They barely enjoy the luxurious of life, even the sibling are being kept away from luxurious. That gives me an aspiration to strive harder for a better life, to bring myself and my family up the considerable level of income group, and be in the elite society.
My personal believe in a family, is to be able to give my wife everything she wishes to, and to provide my parents everything they needs. Meanwhile, to be able to support my children study, further nurture them to become a better person in future. In order to do that, I must be able to have a strong financial base that can provide my parent, my wife, my children and me, a freedom of choice. I must be able to choose what I want without worrying about money.
