Prince: Initial-D...

Prince still remember initial-D, the father told his son when showing him the hidden skills of the final modified car. He said, ‘son, don’t feel like competing with other, but do it as you like’. This statement has enlightened me a lot. It is important to achieve your dream as you like but not competing with others, because when you compete, you tend to compare. For example, you are admiring people having a CLK, and you will set your dream to own one in future. You are then comparing and competing, but if you arrive at such a goal without looking or judging at other people, then you are doing it for your own. When you drill into the comparison habit, you tend to foster strong self-esteem, and self-confidence, stage by stage until it becomes brag. When prince looks back on his phase of development, he thinks and asked, ‘am I doing it for myself? Or merely to compete and compare with others? Or merely to create a platform of comparison for others to compare with me?’ He soon found out that he does it for his own sake, merely, for interest, and for responsibility to achieve a better life, not because he seems what other have it, and he dreams to have it.
