Prince: Sharing...

He was chit-chatting with his mother at night, and soon to realize that so many things happen around the family. His grandfather just recovers from Dengue not TB (previous blog was dengue). His mother started to relate all the incidents to him.

He has an uncle (Kim) addicted to gambling, he has been in that path for quite sometimes until recently, he went to KL, working in a nightclub as a captain. He just can’t change his habit, and bet whatever he has in hand. His relatives have tried to cover his debt as much as possible yet he still does not get it. He has sold his Kancil (not that he knows off until now!) to cover his debt. This explains why he does not like gambling!

Another Uncle (Hee), living without direction in life. Hee has been staying everywhere, and working everywhere, and hee likes to bet in football match. Hee used to owe people a lot of money and family paid it off for him. The main problem with him is commitment and responsibility. Hee has never worked long in one company, and even in business. Currently, they heard that hee worked for foot reflexology center in KL. This Uncle of him has never been back for many years.

He got an auntie with 2 kids, one studying in College and the other one in Primary School. She was a Buddhist devotee, and very much believe in Buddhist teaching but went into the wrong path after meeting a man who claims to be the master of ‘Chan’ (something like those monk used to do, sitting quietly to relax their soul, something likes that!). She followed this master and rumors have been going around. She was being possessed in such a way that she only believes in that man, and believe that everything she did was for the sake of redeeming other’s sin! This explains the degree of impact of one religion can make on one person. Her husband, now letting her go on her own, letting her to do whatever she likes to do, while he will take care of the son. It is a sad story though.

His mother talks about his study, and said, ‘last time all our relatives ask me not to support your study since we have no money, but I insist and worked hard for your study, you must complete whatever you need to do so that I can show them that I am right’. He convinced his mother that he will try his ever best to move toward Phd, there must be one Doctorate in this fourth generation! That is the only way to move his family onto another social degree regardless of money. The least, literacy is what a family has at the end!
